Handling of personal information

Trans-Gateway, Inc.(hereinafter referred to as "We") is providing a receiving agency service and payment agency service for credit card or other online settlement. We fully recognize that the customer's personal information we handle is important for a customer and it is important information asset for our business management as well. In addition, we recognize that protecting personal information of customers and employees is a significant social responsibility as well.
In order to handle this important personal information properly and safely into the future, we shall establish this privacy policy as a code of conduct that all of our executives and employees must observe, and ensure that we observe it.

  1. Regarding personal information handled in all businesses and personal information of executives and employees, in order to comply with laws concerning personal information protection, guidelines established by the government and other norms, we shall promise to observe the Japanese Industry Standard "Personal Information Protection Management System - Requirements" (JIS Q 15001) and other norms, and operate them properly.
  2. In the case of acquiring personal information, we shall clarify the purpose of use and confirm whether the customer intends to provide it or not beforehand and, after obtaining your consent, use it appropriately within the scope of purpose, and take measures to prohibit us from utilize it other than for intended purpose.
  3. In case of delegating all or part of the handling of personal information acquired by the measures set forth in the preceding paragraph and providing personal information to a third party, we shall select a person who meets sufficient protection standard, and take measures such as agreement, etc.
  4. We shall take reasonable safety steps and corrective measures against risks such as unauthorized access to personal information, loss, destruction, falsification and leakage of personal information.
